Updates for September 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

  1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
  2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
  3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. We are handing out tickets to specific time and theme slots that will be for your whole family to participate in. Each ticket is named with a theme and time slot. One ticket will reserve the time slot for your whole family. Then simply arrive at your time slot! We will have someone directing traffic and showing you where to go!   • Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Service Fraternity Annual Easter egg hunt - Easter egg hunt

Omega Tau Sigma (OTS), a service fraternity of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, will host an Easter egg hunt on the college's campus located on Duckpond Drive in Blacksburg. The Easter Bunny will be on hand to greet visitors. There will also be balloon animals, face painting, and live bunnies with a handling and care demonstration.
