Updates for April 2025

Easter will be on Sunday, April 20, 2025, which is later, so the weather should be GREAT! ! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by early April. 

1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2025, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange, as always, call or see their website before you go..
3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you REALLY must call or email to confirm before you go. They may have been discontinued.

Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Hop on over to the Fort for a celebratory Easter Egg hunt spanning the Historic Parade Field! Ages 0-12 are welcome to join in the hunt and will be separated by age groups. Park entry fees will be waived for the event. The event STARTS at 2PM sharp!

  100 Sunset Dr, Wichita Falls, TX 76302. Phone: (940) 761-7490. Event date and time: Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2 pm. Scottz Snakkz Egg Hunt. Join us for our first ever Egg Hunt at Lucy Park  There will be FREE kid-friendly fun, by age so everyone has a chance!  Find us by our 'Scottz Snakkz' shirts and sign in the grass! . Please bring your own basket or sack. 
• Wichita Falls Parks and Recreation - Easter Egg Hunt
  Hamilton Park, located at 2901 Hamilton Blvd, Wichita Falls, TX 76307. Event date and time: Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 1PM to 3:15 PM. FREE EVENT.  City’s Free Easter Egg Hunt. The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host the City’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The event is free to attend and will take place at Hamilton Park, located at 2901 Hamilton Blvd, Wichita Falls, Texas. Festivities will take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. There will be thousands of eggs scattered over the grounds, carnival games, Easter crafts, and the opportunity to take photos with the Easter Bunny. As an added treat, there will be 24 golden eggs that can be claimed for a special Easter
  prize. The Easter egg hunts are grouped by age with three different designated start times.
  • Ages 8 to 10 start at 2:00 pm
  • Ages 5 to 7 start at 2:15 pm
  • Ages 4 and under start at 2:30 pm
  Children should bring a basket or sack for the hunt.
