Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2025, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Oak Ridge Recreation & Parks' Annual Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt, The Easter bunny will make an appearance, FREE event, restrooms, porta-potties, Hand sanitizer and/or hand washing stations are provided

Payment: The event is limited to children ages four through fourth grade. Families are asked to pre-register at Eventbrite.com. Adult volunteers (age 16 and up) are needed to hide eggs, supervise the hunt areas, and assist participants. All volunteers should be prepared to work from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the day of the event and should dress according to the weather. The first 50 volunteers to sign up will receive an event T-shirt. Drive By I Spy Easter Hunt - Scavenger hunt, FREE event

Event date and time: Last year's date was a Saturday, right before Easter, so it may be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 available from 12 pm to 7 p.m.. Directions: Click here for a map and directions. Payment: FREE. The Drive By, I Spy Easter Hunt is available from 12:00-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. This alternative to the traditional Easter hunt happens rain or shine and gets the whole family in on the fun! So, how does it work? You drive around a neighborhood (near Gary Underwood Park in South Knoxville) trying to spy objects people have hidden in their front yards. To be a spy, just follow our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DriveByISpy), and the final list of locations and items to be spied will be shared the day before the event. The annual Easter Egg Hunt is held at the Wear Farm City Park the Saturday before Easter. Each of the four baseball fields will be designated for a specific age group and will stagger start the Easter Egg Hunt at 11:00 AM. This is a free event. Whether you are visiting or staying for a long while make plans to bring the children over to Wear Farm City Park for a day filled with more Easter Eggs than their little eyes can count!
