Updates for January 2025

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2025, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Lakemont Park - Easter Egg Hunt

Event date and time: Last year's date was a week before Easter, so it MIGHT be held (Check with them!) on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10 am to 3 pm. Come out for Lakemont Park and Central Blair Recreation Commission's Easter Egg Hunt at Lakemont Park. Come get your photo with the Easter Bunny starting at 10am! In 2022 Photos start at $12. Ride the train with Central Blair Recreation Commission's very own Max! Train rides are $3 per rider. Batting Cages and Mini-Golf will be open as well. The Sweet Rolling Pin, The Rotating Chef Food Truck, and Doug's Dawgs will be here with some delicious food. Pre-Registration will not take place for this event

Bald Eagle State Park Bunny Hop - Easter trail,
Bald Eagle State Park, 149 Main Park Road, Howard, PA 16841. Event date and time: Good Friday, March 29, 2024 from 2 pm to 3 pm. Come hop down the butterfly trail with the park naturalist as we keep an eye out for spring wildlife (especially bunnies)! We will be hiking approximately 1-2 miles on relatively flat terrain. Expect some slightly wet/muddy trails. All ages are welcome!

Rockhill Trolley Museum Easter on the Rails - Easter train, Easter egg hunt, Easter bunny

Come ride the train and participate in an egg hunt, then ride the trolley and meet the Easter bunny! Tickets are still available but selling fast! So don't miss out on this new and fun opportunity. Passengers will depart the Historic Orbisonia Station for a round-trip excursion over the newly restored East Broad Top mainline through the scenic Aughwick Valley. Once back in the railyard, families can participate in an Easter egg hunt for a chance to find sweet treats or even some other special surprises. Passengers will then transition to a trolley ride at the Rockhill Trolley Museum to meet the Easter Bunny and take home a special gift for each child. Join us for breakfast and an egg hunt. Breakfast at 9am is for the whole family and egg hunt at 10am is for children 5th grade and under.
Tickets will be required for the breakfast. They are free and will be available starting March 3.
