Updates for December 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. The Athens County Child Advocacy Center presents its 3rd Annual Adult Egg Hunt. Tickets are $25/person. Why should kids have all the fun?! Grab your friends and a basket and support a great cause while hunting for eggs! The fun will start at Pleasant Hill Winery at 5 p.m. where participants can register, enjoy light appetizers and music! The egg hunt scramble will take place around 6 p.m. Participants will race to collect eggs that will be filled with a variety of prizes such as candy, coupons, cash, gift certificates, lottery tickets and more! All proceeds benefit the Athens County Child Advocacy Center, a non-profit organization serving children who are survivors of child sexual abuse through coordinated investigation, intervention, education and advocacy. Middleport Easter Egg Hunt - Annual Easter egg hunt

Event date and time: In previous years, it was held on Easter Sunday, so it may be held on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 1 pm. At the football field behind the Blakeslee Center at 1:00pm. Come down and see the Easter Bunny, Hunt for some eggs, and possibly win a new bicycle!!! Parents, don’t worry about your kids getting run over by the bigger kids. We divide the field into age groups so avoid the bigger kids dominating the smaller ones. This hunt is made possible by local businesses and individuals donating money and prizes. Please read the following details about our social distancing egg hunt: All vehicles need to enter at Marina Drive and continue driving until you reach the shelter house. Each child will receive ONE bag of 12 eggs in their age group. After opening up your child’s eggs, if you have a TICKET for a BIKE please stop at the firehouse to claim your child’s age bike. Please remain in your vehicle at all times. A firefighter will come to you. Approximately 600 bags of eggs will be given out including 50 bikes and $300 worth of gold coins! First come, first serve!! Come and enjoy the fun! Normally it is an . Annual event with separate age groups for the kids to hunt eggs in. Multiple bcycles will be given away.
