Updates for September 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. A dog-friendly Easter egg hunt held at the dog park. Eggs will contain treats or tickets that can be turned in for prizes. Proof of Rabies vaccination is a must. Dogs must be leashed at all times.

Cedar Creek Annual Bunny Run/Walk and Easter Egg Hunt - Bunny Run/Walk and Easter Egg Hunt
Cedar Creek Recreation Area, 88 Forest Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345. Phone: 575-257-5030.. Event date and time: Saturday, March 30, 2024 the run at 6:30 AM and the egg hunt at 10:00 AM. Come out and join Ruidoso Parks and Rec for the Annual Bunny Run at Cedar Creek. You are welcome to run/walk in an Easter Costume. The Village of Ruidoso, Parks & Recreation Easter Egg Hunt will be right after the Run at 10:00 AM. There will be free fire truck rides and special Easter Bunny and Smokey Bear appearances. 2024 race registration fee is $30.
