Updates for June 2024

Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

  1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
  2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
  3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.


ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year. Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

Cumberland County

  • Falmouth Congregational Church United Church of Christ Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

There will be events and activities taking place throughout the two-hour time frame, so please feel free to arrive before your designated hunt times to enjoy the festivities!  The hunt times are as follows:
    11:30 AM - Ages 2 and under
    11:50 AM - Ages 3-4
    12:50 PM - Ages 5-8
    12:50 PM - Ages 9 - 12
    The Hunts for ages 5-8 and 9-12 will run simultaneously. Admission is free! The church is located next to Town Hall. This event is free of charge. Be sure to bring an Easter Basket!

At 9 am, children 5 and under can collect eggs at the Rowe playground! At 9:15am, children 6 and over can collect eggs on the Rowe soccer fields!   • Buxton Annual Free Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

The annual Bunny Trail Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday,  at the Buxton Town Hall. This a FREE Family event! To register for this event head to Buxton Rec  or call the Rec Office at 207-929-8381. The event begins at 10am promptly so plan to get there early. Sponsored by the Dorcas Society of Hollis & Buxton. Held at Tory Hill Field Rt 202 Behind the Timberline store For Ages 10 & Under. There will also be a special appearance by the Easter bunny.  Event will be located at the Tory Hill Soccer Field Route 202 behind the Timberline store. Ages 10 and under. There will be a separate area for children 3 and under. Be sure to bring your own baskets or buckets. The Easter Bunny will also be making a special appearance!
  • Kennebunk Elementary School Easter Egg Hunt - Easter Egg Hunt

Event date and time: No update yet for 2024, if they DO hold it, based on past years, it would likely be on a Saturday, either March 23, 2024 or March 30, 2024 from 9:45 to 12 pm. Generally the Friday before Easter, Meet us at the Town Hall (0-4 years olds) or Hope Woods (5-12 year olds) at 9:45am for a 10:00am start. The event is for ages 2-8 and starts promptly at 10am. (recommended to arrive 15 minutes early). Hop on over to this fun filled event. After egg hunt, enjoy some great family entertainment. FREE event will take place regardless of weather. Sponsored by the Recreation Department. Easter Egg Hunt starts promptly at 10am. We strongly suggest arriving by 9:45 am.
  • Kittery Easter Egg Hunt - Easter Egg Hunt
