Easter egg hunts are back! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by mid-March.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2024, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange.
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you must call or email to confirm before you go.

Georgia State Railroad Museum - Easter train

Join us for Eggstravaganza, at Georgia State Railroad Museum on Saturday, March 27th from 10 am to 1pm. Come in your most colorful springtime attire, bring your baskets and come gather springtime treats from friends ready to greet you throughout the site! Georgia State Railroad Museum is a large, open-air historic site with plenty of space for safe social distancing. Staff and volunteers handing out treats will be positioned throughout the outdoor museum. Blacksmith demonstrations by Coastal Heritage Society will occur throughout the day as well as a special egg woodturning demonstration by Lowcountry Turners. The cost to attend Eggstravaganza is $5 per person for all participants, ages eighteen months and older. Pre-registration is required at http://bit.ly/EggstravaganzaGSRM.
