Easter will be on Sunday, April 20, 2025, which is later, so the weather should be GREAT! ! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by early April.

When we CONFIRM an event for 2025, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange, as always, call or see their website before you go..
The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you REALLY must call or email to confirm before you go. They may have been discontinued.

Tugaloo State Park Great Tugaloo Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

Meet us behind the Visitor Center for an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny. Open to all ages. Hunt Area will be split to accommodate age ranges from 0-3, 4-6, 7-15, 16 and older. $5 parking. 706-356-4362. Help our rangers rescue the eggs before the foxes get to them. Meet at the Beach Pavilion to decorate your bags/baskets and don your fox ears to go undercover and get to the eggs before the real foxes do. If your lucky you may uncover a golden egg, that contains a special prize. This event is free of charge with the exception of the $5 parking fee. For directions to the Beach Pavilion see our site map on the website or enter the office at the entrance of the Park for a physical map. In the event of inclement weather the event may be Cancelled or postponed. Parking fee: $5.
Tugaloo State Park Easter Hike and Hunt - Easter activities,

If you'd like to take a photo with this iconic rabbit he'll be behind the Visitor Center and ready for his close-up with Easter enthusiasts of all ages prior to the big hunt. $2 plus $5 parking. 706-356-4362.
