Updates for May 2025

Easter will be on Sunday, April 20, 2025, which is later, so the weather should be GREAT! ! We've started updating the info for this year. Unfortunately MOST wait until the last minute (often just a week before) to publish their dates, times and details. We're updating their information daily as it comes in. We expect pages to be up to date by early April. 

1. When we CONFIRM an event for 2025, the date will be highlighted in pink, like this passage to make them easy to find as you scroll down the page.
2. Hunts that were held in the past year or 2 but not yet confirmed for this year are in orange, as always, call or see their website before you go..
3. The ones NOT in either orange or pink are more dubious - held in the past but not confirmed in the past few years, so just our best guess! These you REALLY must call or email to confirm before you go. They may have been discontinued.

Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, Facebook pages and calendars. San Joaquin County

• Manteca, CA - Easter egg hunt
  Woodward Park, Manteca, CA. Event date and time: Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 10 am, until they run out, get there early. Sponsored by the Manteca Kiwanis Club, this is a free community Easter “egg hunt at Woodward Park at the passenger drop-off zone by the picnic shelter. Instead of the usual Easter egg hunt, in 2021, they will be be handing out bags of candy filled eggs. The Easter Bunny will be there. Held for more than 40 years, only cancelled last year due to the pandemic The event includes food trucks, games, music, and, of course, a massive egg hunt for children up to 10 years of age.

Stanislaus County

  Guests visiting April 11th - April 22nd should check in at admissions to access their Scavenger Hunt Pamphlet to participate. It's also a great way to add more fun to your day! There is no purchase required to participate in the scavenger hunt. Attraction tickets are sold separately. All answers will be something found in the park. Solve all the riddles correctly and turn it in to receive a participation prize! All completed scavenger hunts will be entered to win a BOOMTASTIC party for YOU & 9 guests! Winners will be drawn and notified on April 25th.
• Modesto Certified Farmers Market Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt

• Modesto Reservoir - Easter egg hunt
  Modesto Reservoir, 18143 Reservoir Rd, Waterford, CA 95386. Phone: (209) 525-6750. Email: stancounty@parksrec.org. Eventdate and time: Saturday, April 19, 2025  at 10:30 to 12 pm am. The Egg Hunt will feature four huge egg hunts and an array of other free games and activities. There will be four Egg Hunts to cater to different age groups, with a total of over 12,000 eggs. The hunts are scheduled as followed: Toddler and Special Needs Egg Hunt for ages 1-2 starts at 11:00 a.m., Kiddie Egg Hunt for ages 3-5 starts at 11:30 a.m., Junior Egg Hunt for ages 6-8 at 12:00 p.m., and finally the Big Kid Egg Hunt for ages 9-11 starts at 12:30 p.m. Each hunt will have special eggs containing tickets hidden throughout giving kids a chance to win a bike or a basket filled with prizes. The Parks Bunny himself will be available for photo opportunities starting at 10:30 a.m. Other attractions include crafts, face painting, train rides, obstacle courses and many more activities. The first 200 children to check in at the event will receive a free goodie bag of treats. Food vendors will also be present, serving a variety of foods.
