ALWAYS either see their website or call before you go to confirm the info, there are often last minute changes which they do not report to us!

Updates for July 2019

July: Easter Sunday will be April 21, 2019. Most Easter egg hunts are being held on the Saturday a week before Easter, or the day before Easter Sunday. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains in the northeast) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year.  Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

Laramie County

  • Cheyenne Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
    Holliday Park, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Phone: 307-637-6423. Email: [email protected]. Event date and time: Based on previous years' dates, it SHOULD be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as may have changed), beginning at 10:00am. Traditional Hunt: The Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department will host our Traditional Easter Egg Hunt. This event is for children, ages 2-6y/o, and held every year in Holliday Park (weather permitting). The event will start promptly at 10am and is usually over in 5 minutes or less, so please be early! In the case of inclement weather, there will be a candy giveaway at the Youth Activity & Community Center (1317 Parsley Blvd.), beginning at 10:00am. There is no fee for this event, nor is registration required.
    Underwater Hunt: The 4th Annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place at the Cheyenne Aquatics Center. This event is for children, ages 2-10y/o, and begins at 5:00pm. NOTE: Children 8 y/o & under, must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets for the event will go on sale, beginning March 23rd, 2015 at the Neighborhood Facility and Municipal Pool. $5/Child. 

Teton County

  • Jackson Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt - Free Easter egg hunt
     Town Square, Jackson,WY. Phone: 307-733-3316. Email: [email protected]. Event date and time: Based on previous years' dates, it SHOULD be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as may have changed) at 10am sharp. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and Wells Fargo will present the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Town Square for kids ages 1-6. Calling all kids! Grab your baskets and stroll down to Town Square to meet Peter Rabbit! There will be great prizes and fun for everyone!  Jackson Hole Twin Cinema will host free family movies starting at 11:00am!
