Updates for July 2020

Due to concerns about Coronavirus, many Easter egg hunts are being cancelled for 2020. As we get updates, we are revising them here. ALWAYS confirm directly with the sponsor (we provide links to their websites, email and phone numbers) to ensure they are still holding the event, as the situation is changing rapidly. A few are having drive-in Egg Hunts, most are simply canceling in 2020 to return in 2021, and holding an online service this year.
Easter Sunday will be April 12, 2020. Most Easter egg hunts are being held on the Saturday a week before Easter, or the day before Easter Sunday. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute cancellations, postponements or changes to locations due to weather (like heavy rains in the northeast) or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year.  Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, or simply never respond to email, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, facebook pages and calendars. Besides egg hunts, there are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

The hunt is for children ages 3-12 (weather permitting), with several different age groups. Bring their own baskets to collect eggs. The spaghetti dinner is from 1 pm to 4 pm. Cost of the dinner is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 4-12 and children 3 and under are free. People also can get the salad bar only for $5.

We have a fun event with an Easter Egg hunt and also a special Walk With Jesus experience. There will be 2500 eggs scattered at the corner of Route 42 and Butler Warren Rd! The Easter Bunny and several friendly helpers will be there to greet you. Each child will get a goodie bag and encouraged to hunt for up to 20 eggs. It isn't a race or contest so parents of little ones will have no worries if their child likes to stop and smell the roses during the hunt. We will also have story time and pictures with our sweet bunny. To make things even more exciting, we will have a bouncy house, face painting and balloon animals. The Walk With Jesus is a powerfully moving multi-sensory family event guides families through Jesus's footsteps during His last days on earth. It is designed specifically for parents and their children to experience together. Families will travel to Jerusalem for Palm Sunday, sit down for the Last Supper, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, discover the sacrifice of Good Friday, and celebrate the freedom at the empty tomb that first Easter Morning. Event date and time: It should be on Saturday, April 4, 2020 (we are waiting for confirmation) ,  from 9 am to 11 am. This event is for kids from 2 years old to 5th grade. We have a separate section for 2-5 year olds and another one for 1st-5th graders. We will also have several activities like pictures with Mr. or Mrs. Cottontail (we will mail you the picture), cupcake walk, face painting, tattoos, and coloring.  Sign up on their website.    IMPORTANT: This is a pre-registration for the event and you will still need to check-in on the day of the event. We are limiting this event to only 550 kids and there will be NO walk-up registration available. We will be providing bags for each child to collect their eggs, so you can leave your bags and/or baskets at home.

  • Impact Church Lebanon Annual Helicopter Egg Drop - Helicopter Easter egg drop
    Lebanon Warrior Football Stadium, 160 Miller Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036. Event date and time: Saturday, April 11, 2020, at 12 PM. This is a free event and is open to everyone. We highly recommend getting a free ticket through Eventbrite (Click here for the link) . Every child, grades 4 and under, will get in who has a ticket. Tickets will be limited to 2000 children. ADULTS DO NOT NEED A TICKET-Just the Kids. You can visit www.lebanoneggdrop.com for all of the details you will need for that day but here are a few helpful hints: Get a ticket for every child 4th grade and younger. Adults do not need a ticket. The Egg Drop WILL start PROMPTLY at Noon. Gates will open no later than 11:15AM so arrive early. We will be taking donations of canned goods and non-perishable food at the gate. Please consider making a monetary donation at the gate as you arrive or when you are leaving if you cannot bring the requested food items. All proceeds will go towards daily free meals at area churches. 2020 is Lebanon's 9th annual Egg Drop is brought to you by City Hope Church.
