ALWAYS call before you go to confirm the info, they don't always report changes to me!

Updates for August 2018

August: Easter Sunday will April 21, 2019, If you plan to hold an Easter egg hunt, add or update your information as soon as you can. In 2018 most Easter egg hunts were held on either Saturday, March 24, 2018 or Saturday, March 31, 2018. ALWAYS click the links to check date and time with the event's own website, as there are often last minute changes due to weather or logistical problems, just click on the link to the event's website and (in most cases), you want to click on the "events" link or "calendar" link on their website. Or use their site search for "Easter". Do let them know you found them here, so they will update us next year.  Since many egg hunts do not publish the current year's dates until the very last minute, we may not get their current information, which is why we have links to their websites, facebook pages and calendars. See their events calendar. There are also Easter breakfasts and brunches and Easter parades to watch!

Carson City

And along the bunny will be creating your own spring crafts. Activity is free with price of admission. 
  • Diamond Peak Easter Egg Hunt - Easter Egg Hunt

Event date and time: Based on last year's date, it SHOULD be held on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as may have changed) from 9 am. The big egg hunt starts right when the lifts open at 9am, so you’ll want to get here early! Eggs are hidden all over the mountain, including golden eggs with special prizes in them. Participants must have a valid lift ticket for the day of event or a season pass. At 2pm there will be Easter service at the top of Lakeview Chair, led by Tahoe Resort Ministries.. Churchill County

  • Lahontan State Recreation Area Easter Egg Hunt - Easter egg hunt
    Lahontan State Recreation Area, Fallon, NV 89406. Phone: 775-577-2226. Email: rangershipman@gmail.com. Event date and time: Based on last year's date, it SHOULD be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 (but be sure to check on their website or call them first as may have changed) at 10am. Lahontan State Recreation Area will host its Annual Easter Egg Hunt. More than 200 local children ages 12 and under participate in this popular event each year, which includes a hunt for candy filled Easter eggs and a raffle for items such as gift certificates, food vouchers, Easter baskets and toys.Go to the Silver Springs Day Use Area. Enter from the Silver Springs entrance off of Fir Street. COST: The event is free and the entry fee into the park will be waived for participants.

  • Mormon Station Cotton Tails Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Brunch - Easter Egg Hunt & Pancake Brunch

Hop on over to Mormon Station State Historic Park in Genoa for the 1st annual Cotton Tails Easter Event, hosted by Jalie Premier Event Planning. April Woodward, executive personal chef in the Reno/Tahoe area will be preparing a scrumptious pancake brunch in the stockade. Enjoy picnic-style seating as you share a beautiful spring day with the ones you love. For adults, delicious mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available for purchase throughout the festivities. Following brunch, an Easter egg hunt will pursue. There will be two separate Easter egg hunts beginning at 12pm. The age groups are ages 5 and under, and ages 6 and older. Special golden eggs will reveal a number. The numbers will be called during a raffle following the hunt. Delightful Easter baskets will be awarded to the winner in each age category. And don’t forget to capture the moment in the photo booth, or check out the face-painting artist. The Easter Bunny himself is also most likely to make an appearance. Rumor has it we will have farm fresh eggs for sale.  2016 Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for children for the pancake brunch. The Easter egg hunt is $6.00 per participant. Purchase tickets at www.jalieevents.com. Be sure to visit the log cabin museum and see artifacts used by early pioneers. Kids are free; adults are $1.00.

There will also be a grand prize raffle drawing for a chance to win an Xbox 360 gaming package! In addition, we'll also have a non-perishable Food Drive at the Easter Egg Dash. Food collected will be distributed by The Bridge Food Pantry, benefiting needy families in our community. Last year the Bridge gave away over 49 tons of food!
